These devices range from WAP-enabled mobile phones to Windows-based devices with multimedia, wireless Internet and mobile phone capabilities. The first game scheduled for release under this new agreement, "Pocket Golf" (working title), was showcased at yesterday's news conference on two different Siemens mobile devices: the MultiMobile, which Siemens jointly developed with Casio, and the SIMpad. "Pocket Golf" is scheduled for worldwide release in 2001.

This clearly represents a new and growing market for THQ."

"Our vision for the future is that we will work with THQ to provide exciting, interactive games for wireless entertainment on Siemens mobile phones and digital products," said Ruud Krabbe, senior vice president, marketing, Siemens Communication Devices.
