ACT! Link 2.0 With Extensive New Synchronization Capabilities for Use With Palm OS Handhelds Now Available

ACT! "On The Go" promotion gives mobile professionals rebate on bundle

Interact Commerce Corp. (Nasdaq: IACT), the makers of ACT! -- the best selling contact manager and SalesLogix -- the leader in mid-market CRM, Tuesday announced the availability of ACT!(TM) Link 2.0 for Palm OS(R) handhelds.

ACT! Link 2.0 enables users to synchronize ACT! 2000 data between their desktop and any Palm OS handheld so they have access to their most recent data, no matter where they enter it. Because this link was developed exclusively for ACT! users, they gain access to data that is not available through any other synchronization products.

"Our Palm(TM) handheld users will appreciate the ability to access not only their ACT! contacts on their handheld, but their critical notes and history," said Christy Wyatt, director of strategic alliances and market development for Palm Inc. "This is an incredibly comprehensive link between ACT! and the Palm handheld."

The new ACT! Link 2.0 includes advanced synchronization functionality between core ACT! features and the Palm OS platform. This includes:

-- Mapping-Users now have the flexibility to map ACT! and Palm

handheld fields such as mobile phone numbers, e-mail, and
other Palm handheld custom fields. The fields can be mapped to
match the ACT! field that best suits a user's needs.
-- Notes and History-For each ACT! contact, users can synchronize
up to ten ACT! contact notes and histories with their Palm
        handheld.
-- Groups-When using groups in ACT! to organize their contacts,
ACT! Link 2.0 allows users to synchronize by group. Selecting
only certain groups to synchronize lets you limit the number
of contacts -- reducing synchronization time and conserving
memory on a users's Palm handheld.
-- To Do's-For each Palm To Do List priority (1-5), users can map
a corresponding ACT! priority (High, Medium, or Low).

"Over 50% of our ACT! users own Palm handhelds and having access to their contacts, calendars, notes and histories on their handheld is critical to their success. We are pleased to offer ACT! Link 2.0 free to all our valued users," said Greg Head, vice president and general manager of the ACT! division.

The new ACT! Link 2.0 requires that users have the latest product version, ACT! 2000, available from www.act.com or your favorite software retailer. Coupled with ACT! Link 2.0, ACT! 2000 not only allows for expanded synchronization capabilities, but is now "Internet activated" to enable ACT! users to access Web services in context of their contact records to better manage their business relationships.

In addition to their ACT! calendar and contact information, ACT! users can access business critical Web services across the devices they use every day, such as their wirelessly enabled Palm handheld with Palm.Net(R) wireless service and their Sprint mobile phone.
