Bottle Rocket, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ACTV, Inc. (Nasdaq:IATV) and a leading developer and distributor of interactive entertainment products for the Internet, and Falcon's Wing Wireless, a premier provider of mobile entertainment content, today announced a partnership that will extend Bottle Rocket's unique entertainment and marketing solutions to a wide range of wireless devices.
Through the partnership, Falcon's Wing Wireless will enable four mobile-centric quiz and trivia categories created by Bottle Rocket that will be licensed to wireless carriers and their customers throughout North America. In addition, Falcon's Wing Wireless will also distribute these compelling new services through wireless portals. The companies will benefit from cross marketing and joint sales opportunities, as well as involvement in lead generation programs that will showcase Bottle Rocket's new mobile offerings.
The first mobile offering will be a baseball trivia game and is expected to be available later this fall. The companies will continue to develop games and applications with an emphasis on sports like football, golf, and other relevant categories based on time and event-driven news of the day.
