Digital Avenue Signs Aspiro in New Global Wireless Deal

Proving to be one of the fastest providers of content in the wireless space, Digital Avenue has clinched another revenue generating deal for its wireless games division, this time with global mobile internet service provider, Aspiro.

The deal, which is for two years, allows Aspiro to sell seven of Digital Avenue’s wireless games – Kingpin Bowling, Quiz Game, Star Striker, Puzzlemania, WordWizard, Black Jack and Outpost Island Adventure Game - to end users via mobile operators internationally. Aimed at 16-34 year old males, the games include single player and multi-user capabilities.

“Aspiro is an exciting partnership for us,” said CEO of Digital Avenue, Colin Bower, “Digital Avenue is rapidly expanding with deals being made throughout Europe and Asia. The relationship with Aspiro has helped to cement us in the global market place, providing Digital Avenue with an international distribution channel for its interactive products.”

Last month Digital Avenue made an exclusive deal with Norwegian mobile operator, NetCom, to provide WAP users with ten new games a month.

“We already have insight into customer behaviour when it comes to using content over wireless applications,” said Bower. “Our Research and Development team can apply those learnings to new content and is quickly able to produce what we believe are the best wireless games available.”
