Interwoven Provides Content Management Software to 'DJuice', Telenor's Mobile Internet Portal

Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq:IWOV), the leading provider of enterprise-class content management software announced today that Telenor Mobile Communications has chosen Interwoven solutions to generate, manage and deploy content for DJuice (www.djuice.com), its international mobile Internet services portal.

Telenor Mobile Communications is one of the world's most advanced mobile operators with a leading position in the Norwegian market as well as ownership in 15 mobile companies throughout the world. DJuice provides personalized multilingual consumer and business services for wireless devices such as WAP (Wireless Access Protocol) phones and Personal Digital Assistants (PDA).

TeamSite 4.5, Interwoven's flagship enterprise class content management software, will enable authorized Telenor content contributors and international partners to create and manage new content, including text, executable code, and audio or video files which will be outputted to a wide range of Internet-enabled wireless devices. Because TeamSite provides a virtual development environment, contributors can test exactly how all the content will appear to all site viewers including viewers from the Web, WAP devices and PDAs.

TeamSite 4.5 offers new functionality to improve ease-of-use and enable content sharing across the extended enterprise. Key enhancements in version 4.5 are:

-- TeamSite Front-Office provides contributors access to TeamSite publishing functions from within Microsoft Office 2000 and Windows Explorer

-- TeamSite Workflow Builder allows business managers to quickly design and modify workflows using simple drag-and-drop, thereby streamlining the development process

-- Extended XML functionality in TeamSite Templating offers superior flexibility for capturing, storing and sharing all types of content using any industry-standard XML DTD.

"Interwoven provides Telenor Mobile Communications with the means to manage content for new DJuice sites as they expand internationally. TeamSite will make DJuice more user-friendly as relevant content can be distributed to a subscriber wherever he or she is located," explained Jan-Inge Arvidsson, managing director of Interwoven Nordic. "Another benefit is the assurance of uniform quality across DJuice sites as content creators will use the same templating and workflow software to manage content."

"The market for enterprise-class content management is exploding as companies realize that the momentum for providing eCommerce is outstripping the technical facilities to manage it effectively," said Jan Nordhagen, vice president of European operations, Interwoven Inc. "Through customers like Telenor Mobile Communications, Interwoven demonstrates that delivering a scalable, inclusive content architecture for the desktop Web environment can now be extended to the wireless Web."

DJuice will also use Interwoven OpenDeploy software which automates content deployment to the Web. Open Deploy allows centrally-created content to be deployed, encrypted with 128-bit encryption, to server locations across the world. OpenDeploy also optimizes server synchronization time by transferring the updated content only which is very important to a site like DJuice where content is updated frequently throughout the day.
