Intrinsigo and Kaplan Announce Interactive Mobile Content Alliance

The Companies Explore Opportunities Following On the Heels of Their Co-branded "Kaplan to Go!" Product for Palm Powered(TM) Handhelds

Intrinsigo, pioneers in delivering rich, interactive content designed specifically for PDA users, and Kaplan, a premier provider of educational and career services for individuals, schools, and businesses, today announced a joint effort to explore content conversion and distribution opportunities for PDA users.

The two companies previously teamed together to enable Kaplan test preparation on Palm Powered(TM) handheld computers. Their jointly developed "Kaplan To Go!" application provides an introduction to Kaplan's unique SAT and GRE test preparation capabilities for users of Palm Powered handhelds. "Kaplan to Go!", powered by Intrinsigo(TM), is certified Platinum Compatible and is featured on Palm's "Road Scholar" promotional CD, which was distributed this summer to new Palm buyers.

"Intrinsigo has helped us be first to market with test prep for mobile devices," says Trent Anderson, V.P. and publisher, e-Ventures Group, Kaplan, Inc. "During our first meeting with Intrinsigo, it was immediately clear that their products and services were exactly what we needed to bring our branded content to the handheld market." Kaplan is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Washington Post Company (NYSE: WPO).

"The Kaplan modules on Palm(TM) handhelds are truly amazing," says Steve McConnell, co-founder and CEO of Intrinsigo. "Kaplan's desire to innovate and extend the value of their brand by reaching people on the go aligns perfectly with Intrinsigo's vision for interactive mobile content." Intrinsigo uses its patent-pending software tools in teaming with marquee branded content owners to deliver rich, interactive content modules for mobile computing devices such as Palm(TM) handheld computers, other Palm Powered handhelds and Microsoft(R) Windows(R)-powered Pocket PC devices.

Intrinsigo and Kaplan are exploring opportunities to convert additional Kaplan titles for PDA distribution and to create future co-branded product announcements.
