Mi8 Corporation, the leading application service provider (ASP) for small and mid-size organizations, today announced the availability of its newest wireless solution for Palm users. This solution enables wireless access to the collaborative work environments of Microsoft(R) Outlook(TM) & Exchange - email, tasks, contacts, public folders and calendars - from Palm Vx and Palm VII handhelds. Palm currently has over 70% of the market share in handheld devices.

Mi8 is using ThinAirApps LLC's ThinAir Server to enable its 'Netsourcing' customers to access their Outlook & Exchange environment from their Palm device. This gives users the familiar look and feel of Microsoft Outlook and enables them to manipulate their business information remotely, anytime.

This Palm-based solution expands Mi8's current portfolio of wireless solutions, including the Blackberry mobile email solution from Research in Motion (RIM) and Infowave's wireless laptop solution. Additional wireless offerings will be forthcoming.
