This week at CTIA Wireless IT, Nokia continues to demonstrate a wide range of solutions that further the company's vision of a Mobile Information Society - a world in which voice, data and video communications converge into technologies that will enable an always connected society. Nokia, a pioneer in the development of mobile Internet technology, along with its developer participants, will also showcase innovative WAP solutions in the Nokia booth 203 at CTIA's Wireless IT show in the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Nokia's Wireless Broadband Solutions:
At Wireless IT, the company will demonstrate the latest advancements in broadband wireless router technology pioneered by Nokia. Nokia's wireless broadband solutions represent another step towards Nokia's vision of a Mobile Information Society by enabling operators to rapidly deploy wireless broadband networks to meet the increasing demand for high-speed Internet access. At Wireless IT, Nokia will demonstrate two of its wireless broadband solution families, the Nokia RoofTop(TM) Wireless Routers and Bridges and Nokia CityHopper(TM) Broadband Wireless Access products. These solutions complement and further strengthen Nokia's existing broadband DSL and home networking solutions, offering providers a suite of broadband solutions that will enable them to reach a broader customer base more quickly.

Nokia continues to strengthen its leading end-to-end WAP solution by offering a full range of WAP compliant products including gateways, portals, mobile terminals, and browsers as well as a full range of tools for WAP-based content creation and delivery, end-user application platforms, and systems integration services. Nokia Professional Services provides comprehensive service solutions for planning, deploying, managing, and enhancing WAP solutions. Additionally, Nokia's alliances with many of the world's leading networking and application companies are driving the progress that will make mobile Internet a reality.

Mobile Internet - Nokia's Enabling Infrastructure:
At Wireless IT, Nokia Networks will have subject matter experts on site to discuss the recently announced Nokia mPlatform Solution(TM) and other 3G technologies. The Nokia mPlatform Solution is an open platform for operators and service providers to implement mobile Internet services. With the Nokia mPlatform Solution as an enabling layer, operators and service providers can now start to build a trusted position with their mobile Internet portals and tailor new services according to market and consumer demand. The Nokia mPlatform Solution is a network and terminal independent solution working across various access methods from WAP and GRPS to 3G and fixed Internet technologies.
The company will also be demonstrating Nokia's Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution (EDGE) solution, which will boost the data rates and capacity in both TDMA and GSM networks.
