Equinox Solutions, Inc. and Sprint PCS (NYSE:PSC) today announced they have joined forces to offer an application that enables mobile professionals to quickly and readily retrieve e-mail attachments and remote documents when connected to the Sprint PCS 100 percent digital nationwide network via a Windows-based laptop.
By incorporating Equinox Solutions' ActiveNet with the Sprint PCS all-digital nationwide network, customers gain powerful control over remote documents and attachments, including the ability to remote-attach, remote-fax and remote-print. It also provides users with the capability to browse directories and manipulate remote documents from their laptops. For example, instead of waiting to download an entire document attached in an email, customers connected to the Sprint PCS network via their laptop will have the option of viewing only the first page or part of the document. By maximizing bandwidth performance, this new application will help reduce costs and time spent waiting for documents to download.

The companies will jointly market and sell Equinox Solutions' ActiveNet suite of products to corporate enterprise customers that require wireless access to mission critical corporate data in a mobile environment. The application is compatible with laptops running Windows 95/98/2000/NT.
