Stellcom Inc., a leading provider of engineering-based wireless solutions for the mobile economy, and Capslock, a leading provider of wireless access technology, today announced they will jointly offer wireless solutions to extend established enterprise infrastructure and e-commerce to wireless handheld devices, including smart phones and wireless PDA devices.
Leveraging technology developed at Capslock's headquarters in Finland -- the world's wireless capital -- the partnership enables Stellcom to immediately offer engineering solutions to customers throughout Europe. Capslock gets an important channel for its products in the United States.
Stellcom is known for innovative design and integration of wireless applications and hardware for Fortune 1000 customers, and is developing global partnerships to extend the corporate enterprise out to the wireless device. The wireless Internet integrator will utilize Capslock Advanced Wireless Architecture (CAWA) in wireless Web and m-commerce solutions that enable client companies to mobilize sales forces and better service customers. CAWA transforms Web content from the Internet to wireless devices by utilizing wireless XML middleware.
