WordWalla Launches Next Generation Products for Wireless Carriers and Device Manufacturers

WordWalla, Inc., the leading provider of global language software, has released a series of next generation device and operating system independent software products. WordWalla’s technology allows device manufacturers and wireless carriers to offer users the ability to create and view content in over 55 languages on any device anywhere in the world.

Previously, WordWalla’s global language software was available for PC users to send multilingual email via www.wordwalla.com. Users can now view electronic content in multiple languages on wireless devices such as WAP enabled cell phones and PDAs. "Many current devices have limited language support, but WordWalla has solved this problem by taking electronic content in any language and converting it to a device-compliant format," said Dinesh N. Vaswani, President and CEO of WordWalla. "These products allow us to extend our functionality and offer our technology and solutions to wireless carriers, wireless application service providers and content providers."

• GlobalType(tm), aimed at device manufacturers and OS vendors, provides highly compressed outline fonts that occupy significantly less memory than most bitmap fonts.

• GlobalWrite Mobile(tm) is a C++ multilingual text-input and display engine for mobile devices which includes virtual keyboards, WordWalla’s proprietary fonts for over 55 languages, a contextual processor, and a text-layout engine for both left-to-right and right-to-left languages.

• GlobalWrite Web^TM is a Java-based multilingual text-input and display engine.

• GlobalVu(tm) allows users to view electronic content in multiple languages on wireless devices such as WAP enabled cell-phones and PDAs.
