ActiveSky will showcase its award-winning technology, enabling the delivery of high-quality video, animation, graphics and text to mobile and wireless Internet devices, this week at Comdex in Las Vegas.
Fresh on the heels of being crowned the Fall Internet World "Best of Show" technology in the entertainment category, ActiveSky's media player will be on display at MobileFocus, Sunday, Nov. 12, at Caesars Palace, and on exhibit for the remainder of the week in the Microsoft Pavilion, booth No. L5142; the Handspring Pavilion, booth No. L5650; and the Ericsson booth No. LN112.
ActiveSky is the first company to develop technology that supports the full spectrum of multimedia formats and can deliver visual media in black and white, grayscale or color to handheld devices over wireless networks. ActiveSky designed its technology with both high-and low-powered devices in mind, which allows it to operate on more mobile devices (including PDAs and cell phones) than any other media technology.

ActiveSky's technology incorporates digital rights management features, allowing content developers to safeguard copyrighted materials.
An advanced compression algorithm and sophisticated error correction allow the technology to work on today's low bandwidth wireless network connections.
ActiveSky's built-in XML scripting features will allow developers to incorporate interactivity directly into the full range of visual media, including video, animation, graphics and text.
ActiveSky has signed content providers to distribute news, entertainment and educational short programs that viewers can enjoy and share with friends.
