For the first time ever, top-quality short films will be syndicated to mobile and wireless devices -- thanks to a unique deal between next generation entertainment leader AtomFilms and leading Scandinavian media company Schibsted.
AtomFilms is syndicating nearly 100 short films and animations for distribution over the next 18 months via Schibsted's media portal, www.inpoc.com -- a brand new service destination focused entirely on delivering entertainment and value-added services to a variety of mobile and wireless devices.
AtomFilms was the first entertainment company to provide short films and animations to handheld devices with its role as a Pocket PC launch partner and the debut of its dedicated mobile Web site, www.atomfilms.com/togo in April. AtomFilms' proven prowess with this new entertainment platform and its dedication to providing cutting-edge content led Schibsted -- a highly regarded Euro media powerhouse and recognized content leader -- to seek out a partnership. The content syndicated to Schibsted will be available for download to Pocket PC and Palm devices, as well as viewable at www.inpoc.com, offering its subscribers free access to AtomFilms' quality content on the go. Schibsted, which has evolved from a traditional newspaper business to Scandinavia's leading media company, currently draws an estimated 50% of Scandinavian online traffic to its sites.
