Coola Inc. And Aportis Technologies Partner, Create a Breakthrough in Web Content Delivery to Mobile Reader in a Single Click

Partnership Provides Simplicity and Speed of Implementation to Help Web Sites Quickly Transfer Documents to Mobile Space and Wireless Devices

Aportis Technologies Corp., the publisher of AportisDoc, the industry standard for placing text documents of any size on handheld computers, and Coola Inc., which transports information from the World Wide Web to Palm(TM)handheld computer applications, today announced a joint partnership, creating a breakthrough in Web content delivery to wireless devices and Palm handhelds.

"Web site owners can now have all their web pages converted automatically to AportisDoc format and synched to Palm Powered(TM) handhelds in a single click," said Sudha Jamthe, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Coola. "This is great news for Palm handheld users and Internet merchants. This means all web pages such as pricing, product information, company reports and even press releases can be transferred to a Palm handheld with the ease of a single click."

Aportis is the publisher of AportisDoc, the industry standard for placing text documents of any size on handheld computers. Coola is the developer of a new technology that provides an open, new pipe to carry information from the Internet to Palm OS(R) platform applications, independent of the desktop.

"This partnership has created a breakthrough in Web Content Delivery to Mobile Applications, and provides simplicity and speed of implementation to help Web sites quickly transfer documents to mobile space and wireless devices," said Tim Horgan, Vice President and General Manager, Online, of CXO Media, the producer of CIO.com, which has adopted Coola Technology to allow Web users to download CIO.com site information to their handhelds.

Users visiting these Coola-enabled Web sites can have the information from any Web page automatically converted so they may be viewed on any Palm Powered handheld with AportisDoc Mobile Edition or other "Doc" readers. For example, manufacturers' representatives can take detailed price codes and technical specifications from Web sites and place them on their handhelds, health care professionals can take patient records and lab results on their rounds, lawyers can view any codes and rules needed during a trial, and financial services professionals can refer to credit ratings and S.E.C. regulations.

"The partnering of AportisDoc with Coola gives Palm handheld users an easy way to get large amounts of information from the Internet to their Palm handhelds with ease," said David Schargel, President of Aportis Technologies Corp. "Companies that target the mobile professional can also immediately benefit as Coola is able to transform large, dynamically, database-driven web sites into the AportisDoc handheld software."
