GoAmerica, Microsoft and CreSenda Announce Availability of End-To-End Wireless Solution for Real Estate Market

Industry Leaders Deliver Complete Mobile Real Estate Application For Microsoft's Pocket PC Platform

Today at COMDEX/Fall 2000, GoAmerica Inc., a leading wireless data and Internet services provider, Microsoft Corp. and CreSenda Wireless, a leading vertically focused wireless application developer, announced availability of an end-to-end wireless solution for the real estate industry, delivered on Microsoft's Pocket PC platform. The combination of technologies from these companies will provide real estate agents with access to customized wireless services on the Pocket PC. GoAmerica will be showing both the CreSenda application and Go.Web(tm) for the Pocket PC in the Microsoft booth at COMDEX.

Through GoAmerica's Hotpaper application, real estate professionals will be able to open, view, edit and send documents on the fly. For example, after successfully showing a property, an agent could complete a legal homeowner agreement via his or her wireless device and have it faxed or e-mailed immediately to the client for a signature before leaving the location. The ability to act on more detailed aspects of a business deal from a wireless device will allow mobile professionals to increase their productivity and efficiency.

The combined wireless offering will be available on Pocket PC devices with the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) operating system, including the Compaq iPAQ, the HP Jornada and the Casio Cassiopeia. Unique features of Pocket PC will enable professionals to wirelessly access up-to-the-minute market-specific information, view color photos of homes, search maps and interact with detailed profiles of properties. The application will be completely customizable, allowing for defaults such as city and state preferences, price ranges and property features. Agents will also be able to send and receive e-mail and browse the Internet while on the road. In addition, GoAmerica's Go.Web integration with Microsoft's Mobile Information Server will enable complete access to corporate intranets and Microsoft Exchange functions, including phone and address book, calendar and tasks.

"We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Microsoft and to team with CreSenda in this initiative," said Joe Korb, executive vice president, GoAmerica. "We truly believe that complete wireless solutions for vertical industries such as this will add remarkable value for those who depend upon real-time interaction and information to conduct business."

"We are excited to have GoAmerica's Go.Web integrated into the Pocket PC platform," said Rogers Weed, general manager of the Mobile Devices Division at Microsoft. "Wireless access to CreSenda's real estate application is a great example of how the lives of mobile professionals are being enhanced in this new era of connectivity."

"Teaming with industry icon Microsoft and leading wireless ISP GoAmerica accelerates the adoption of our vertical applications -including sales force automation, healthcare, financial services, commercial and residential real estate - driving the entire wireless data category both domestically and internationally," said Doug Dobie, president of CreSenda Wireless.

"Real estate professionals who are, or aspire to be, top producers realize that a wireless handheld solution is quickly becoming a necessity," said Jay Marks, broker associate with RE/MAX Associates in Arlington, Texas. "I've already seen a tremendous advantage in using the first release of CreSenda's WirelessRealty, and now with Microsoft and GoAmerica at its side, the real estate industry is going to be turned upside down and pushed to the forefront of wireless technology adoption."

In October GoAmerica announced it would integrate Go.Web with Microsoft's Mobile Information Server to offer corporate customers wireless access to Microsoft Exchange Server data over all major devices and networks.
