GoAmerica and Compaq Team to Provide Wireless Solution for Mobile Professionals

GoAmerica becomes first wireless services provider to support the iPAQnet Mobile Internet solution on iPAQ BlackBerry and iPAQ Pocket PC

GoAmerica (NASDAQ: GOAM), a leading wireless data and Internet services provider, today announced that Compaq Computer Corporation has selected GoAmerica's Go.Web(TM) technology to provide wireless access to its line of iPAQ handheld computers.

GoAmerica's Go.Web will enable mobile professionals using the iPAQ Pocket PC or iPAQ BlackBerry(TM) devices to wirelessly access data and the Internet from anywhere in the United States via the iPAQnet Mobile Internet solution.

The Go.Web technology intelligently compresses, encrypts and reformats data, optimizing it for viewing on a variety of wireless devices and data networks. By incorporating the Go.Web browser with the iPAQnet Mobile Internet, Compaq can deliver a complete wireless solution to mobile business professionals whose work schedules demand direct and reliable wireless access to the Internet.

"If there was any doubt before, it should be clear today that the wireless revolution is here and GoAmerica is bringing it all together," said Joe Korb, executive vice president and director of GoAmerica. "As more and more companies deploy their workers beyond the confines of the office, the stronger the demand and need for real-time access to critical information becomes. Together, GoAmerica and Compaq are empowering the mobile enterprise with solutions that allow them to remain competitive, productive and mobile."

"Our iPAQnet Mobile Internet solution will give business professionals the freedom to roam in a wireless world," said Ted Clark, Vice President, Wireless Internet Solutions, Compaq Computer Corporation. "It is clear to us by teaming with GoAmerica, we provide a highly flexible wireless solution for our customers. Integrating Go.Web into our new iPAQnet solution will enhance our family of iPAQ handheld devices and, more importantly, give our customers a seamless wireless solution that complements the way they live and work."

Business customers will be able to use the iPAQ device to send and receive messages from any Internet email account. The iPAQ Pocket PC allows users to receive, edit and send Microsoft Word and Excel attachments, making it a true wireless business solution.

The iPAQnet Mobile Internet solution supported by the Go.Web browser is available for the:

-- Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC, which includes the PC Card (PCMCIA) Expansion Pack and Sierra Wireless AirCard 300.

-- Compaq iPAQ BlackBerry Wireless Email Solution.

iPAQnet Mobile Internet will be sold via the Compaq website (www.compaq.com) and through its direct sales channels for a flat monthly fee for unlimited usage.
