Ilium Software Releases eWallet for Palm OS Platform

Company Expands Its Support of Mobile Devices to Include Palm Powered Handhelds

Ilium Software(TM) today announced the release of Ilium Software eWallet(R) for Palm Powered(TM) handheld computers, adding to the Desktop, Handheld and Pocket PCs already supported. The newly released version of eWallet runs on all handhelds based on the Palm OS(R) platform, including all Palm(TM) series handhelds, the Handspring Visor, the IBM WorkPad and the new Sony CLIE.

eWallet allows users to store and retrieve all their important personal information in a highly secure electronic wallet. Based on numerous requests from Palm Powered handheld owners, Ilium Software took the application that Pen Computing Magazine called "The killer handheld application" and built a version that fully exploits the Palm OS platform. Using 128-bit key RC4 encryption technology, this new version gives Palm Powered handheld users a leap forward in security for their private information.

"We are delighted to see Ilium Software expand into the Palm Powered handheld market with its popular eWallet product," said Laura Rippy, Chief Executive Officer of Handango, a leading source of wireless and handheld computing for business professionals. "We think eWallet adds a powerful level of security for users' important personal and business information residing on handhelds based on the Palm OS platform."

eWallet, the first commercial electronic wallet program for Windows CE, set the standard for portable electronic wallets and has won many industry awards since its first release, including a First Class Award from Mobile Computing and Communications Magazine, and PC Computing Magazine's 5-star designation. Users who have both the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) desktop and Palm Powered handheld versions of eWallet will be pleased to know their data will be synchronized seamlessly using the included eWallet Conduit and HotSync(R) technology.

"We are especially excited about expanding our reach in the mobile device market to include the Palm OS platform," said Kenneth Morse, President and CEO of Ilium Software. "We get so many request from Palm Powered handheld users to make our software available and we feel the platform is an excellent fit for our Personal Information Management applications."

eWallet is available for $29.95 on any one platform, and $10.00 for any added platform from Ilium Software and selected retailers and distributors worldwide. For a limited time, the company is offering the desktop version at no charge to customers who buy the Palm OS platform version. More information, including a 30-day free trial, can be found on Ilium Software's website,
