(Nasdaq: YHOO), a leading global Internet communications, commerce and media company, today announced that the recently unveiled eLink two-way wireless service that is Fortified with Yahoo! is commercially available for purchase via www.elinkhere.com, and soon will be available through Spiegel and ePhones. The new, cutting-edge service, which provides consumers immediate access to Yahoo! content and services via Motient’s nationwide wireless, two-way data network, also enables users the convenience of wirelessly synchronizing Yahoo! Messenger between a wireless device and an Internet-enabled PC.
Motient, a leading provider of a wide range of two-way mobile and Internet communications services, is offering consumers free airtime until Feb. 1, 2001 if they sign up for the service by Dec. 31, 2000.

For a limited time, consumers who buy the RIM Wireless Handheld ($335) before Dec. 31, 2000, will get free, unlimited airtime between now and Feb. 1, 2001 (A maximum value of up to $105.
