OmniSky Corporation (Nasdaq: OMNY), the award-winning provider of branded wireless Internet and e-mail services for users of handheld devices, today announced an agreement with Staples Inc., (Nasdaq:SPLS), the pioneer of the office superstore industry. OmniSky will begin selling its service and modems in more than 600 Staples locations nationwide. The agreement broadens OmniSky's aggressive path toward making its "off the shelf" wireless Internet solution widely available in time for the holiday buying season, allowing customers to shop where they choose.

Consumers can purchase OmniSky's solution from a retail store, catalogue or online store and be up and running with the OmniSky wireless Internet and e-mail service in minutes.
Pricing and Availability
OmniSky wireless Internet and email service will be available at 625 Staples locations for the Palm V(TM) and Palm Vx(TM) devices, as well as the Handspring(TM) Visor(TM) Platinum and Handspring(TM) Visor(TM) Prism. OmniSky's monthly service plan is $39.95 a month for unlimited usage and suggested retail price for the OmniSky modem is $299. In addition, OmniSky is offering an automatic $200 rebate that reduces the modem cost to $99 after six months of paid service.
In October, OmniSky announced its availability through other consumer electronics retailers, online stores and direct marketers including AT&T Stores, CDW, CompUSA, Datavision, Franklin Covey, Fry's Electronics, J&R Computer World, Micro Center, PC Connection, RCS Computer Experience and Amazon.com.
