Starfish Software, a leading supplier of complete customized SyncML-enabled synchronization infrastructure and software solutions for the wireless Internet, jointly with Eircell, today announced a partnership to provide the TrueSync™ Internet Planner with Synchronization Server to Eircell customers across Ireland.
As part of this partnership, Eircell will integrate Starfish's TrueSync Internet Planner, including calendar, contacts, tasks and memos along with the TrueSync SyncML-enabled Synchronization Server, into their existing www.e-merge.ie service. Integration will be coordinated jointly between Starfish, Eircell and integrator Nebula Technologies.
The TrueSync Internet Planner will allow Eircell customers to view, edit and update their personal information via HTML and WML browsers from any PC, WAP-enabled cellular phone or supported handheld device. The SyncML-enabled TrueSync Synchronization Server will allow Eircell users to synchronize their Internet planner information to SyncML compliant devices over the air, as well as simultaneously share and update their data with any TrueSync and SyncML-enabled devices, Web applications, PC-based applications and wireless phones, with just one-click from their personal computer using TrueSync Plus' one-click, multi-point synchronization.

Registered users can take advantage of this free online service by signing up for a username and password on the Eircell site www.e- merge.ie. The TrueSync Plus software will be available via download from the Eircell site to ensure users can take advantage of synchronizing their information with Microsoft™ Outlook™, Palm- powered™ devices and the accompanying Palm™ Desktop, and popular Ericsson™, Motorola™ and Nokia™ cellular phones. TrueSync provides users with the added benefit to download free updates for future supported phones, devices and other popular applications.
