ThinAirApps Named Content Provider for the Palm Mobile Internet Kit

ThinAirApps, Inc., a pioneer in the development of wireless information access software, today announced that its ThinAir v1.6 free e-mail client is now available in the Palm(TM) Mobile Internet Kit. Anyone utilizing the Mobile Internet Kit on their Palm Powered(TM) handheld with a data-enabled mobile phone will be able to access their existing personal e-mail accounts in real-time with ThinAir v1.6.

ThinAir is an application that enables real-time access to ISP-hosted or Web-based mail, including any POP and IMAP mail systems, HotMail and Yahoo! Mail. Optimized to make accessing e-mail quick and easy, ThinAir allows users to read, reply and delete e-mail messages in their inbox. In addition, the software integrates with the local Palm address book and allows users to do ICQ paging and read newsgroups.

ThinAir has been the most downloaded application from the Palm.Net(R) service since January and has received awards from PC Magazine and TAP Magazine. In June, ThinAir was named a content provider for the Palm VIIx handheld. ThinAir is powered by ThinAir Server, ThinAirApps' commercial wireless software platform that enables secure, real-time access to any data from any device.
