InstantDx Introduces World's First Wireless Internet Application for Mobile Phones and Other Web-Enabled Devices, Benefiting Doctors and Their Patients Nationwide

InstantDx's Revolutionary Service, OnCallData(TM), Allows 24/7 Open Communications Among Mobile Doctors, Pharmacies and Labs; Consumers Gain Real-time Care, Prescriptions and Lab Results

InstantDx, L.L.C., a provider of innovative technology for the medical community, and an affiliate of Immunomatrix Inc., a leading biotechnology company focused on rapid diagnostic testing, today launched the industry's first wireless solution for Web-enabled mobile phones. Practical, convenient, and user-friendly, OnCallData enables physicians and their staff to generate prescriptions directly to pharmacies, as well as to review real-time delivery of their patients' medical laboratory data, all via portable Web-enabled handheld technologies. Developed by doctors for doctors, OnCallData easily integrates into the communications devices physicians rely on most -their mobile phones and pagers, in addition to Web-enabled personal digital assistants, Pocket PCs and personal computers.

"OnCallData represents a first for InstantDx and the industry," said Allan M. Weinstein, M.D., Co-Chairman and CEO of InstantDx. "It is a groundbreaking technology that will improve the lives of doctors with hectic schedules, and enable better patient care by delivering vital medical information quickly."

InstantDx's patent-pending technology is the only revolutionary wireless application that uses WAP technology and both a hub-centric or server-centric platform for data, accessible from a wide variety of mobile phone brands and wireless service providers. Doctors can utilize the robust OnCallData mobile phone platform to view patient test results and write scripts -- in less than 30 seconds.

OnCallData is a solution for physicians, offering after-hours convenience and efficiency, and for their staffs', fast and accurate prescription submission. OnCallData's lab review component is especially valuable to those physicians' offices identified by their lab partners as ordering high-volume tests, such as infectious disease specialists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, hematologists, and oncologists. Unlike its competitors, InstantDx's OnCallData supports physicians by:

Offering mobility beyond the office;

Requiring minimal behavior change;

Not requiring investment in office infrastructure;

Not limiting the service to specific hardware or devices.

Using a simple intuitive interface, physicians can access stored patient and therapy lists or enter in a selection via the phone keypad. Physicians are then given a choice of patient regimens including the number of tablets per dose, frequency and special instructions such as "take with food." Once the prescription is defined, doctors can choose the appropriate local pharmacy by name, zip code or phone number.

OnCallData's lab results feature allows instant access to patients' results including a summary screen that provides an overview of their patients' status. Unlike the traditional lab results process, patient results are listed by severity including categories for panic, stat, high, low and abnormal results. This system gives physicians immediate access to critical information, including the date and time of the test preformed and the exact test value.

Through strategic alliances with Verizon Wireless, Giant Food and Pharmacy, and other pharmacies, OnCallData is now available to physicians across the country. In addition, all the features of the mobile phone platform are available in a desktop version that runs on a standard Web browser. This provides office staff a one-screen script writing system, coupled with patient test result reporting.

Founded in 1998, InstantDx remains a privately held company. Its highly trained team of medical and technology professionals recognized early on how doctors were pressed for time and developed OnCallData.
