Interactive Intelligence Previews Beta Version of Wireless Interaction Management Application at Communications Solutions(TM) Expo Fall 2000

New Wireless Interaction Client allows mobile workers to perform telephone and other functions directly from their handheld computer

LAS VEGAS, COMMUNICATIONS SOLUTIONS(TM) EXPO FALL 2000 (December 6, 2000) – Interactive Intelligence Inc. (NASDAQ: ININ) previews its first wireless offering called Wireless Interaction Client(TM), a new interaction management application for the Palm OS® platform. This new beta application is being demonstrated at the Interactive Intelligence booth (#254) at Communications Solutions(TM) Expo Fall 2000 in Las Vegas on December 6th and 7th.

The Wireless Interaction Client enables mobile workers to access the power of their corporate communications system with features like a corporate directory, contact management, conferencing, call transfer, recording features and much more.

The Wireless Interaction Client will be offered as an add-on to the entire Interactive Intelligence product line designed for e-businesses, enterprises, contact centers and service providers. Interactive Intelligence expects to release the Wireless Interaction Client in the first quarter of 2001.

"We believe this product will offer tremendous benefit by allowing mobile workers to conduct business from the road just as effectively as they can in the office," said Dr. Donald E. Brown, president and CEO of Interactive Intelligence. "Imagine being able to set up a conference call using a Palm(TM) handheld and a cell phone – and e-mail a recording to your boss!"
