YadaYada Inc. (www.yadayada.com), an integrated wireless Internet service provider and personalized mobile Web portal for handheld computers, announced today the availability of the first complete bundled CDPD wireless package for the Handspring(TM) Visor(TM) Platinum that combines YadaYada's innovative wireless service and wireless modem with the Handspring Visor Platinum, all in one box.
YadaYada recently launched "Phase I" of its wireless service (currently in open beta) allowing users to access any HTML-created Web site using YadaYada's wireless Web browser and send and receive e-mail from up to 6 POP3 e-mail accounts from their Handspring Visor Platinum handheld computer. YadaYada's service and the Visor Platinum wireless bundled solution are available through 1-800-YadaYada or at www.yadayada.com.
The bundled wireless package includes:

Pricing and Availability
The Handspring Visor Platinum and YadaYada Minstrel S(TM) modem bundle is priced at $449 (after $150 modem rebate). Customers can sign up for Phase I of the YadaYada wireless Internet service and become "Beta users" for $39.95 per month for unlimited wireless service. Customers can also purchase the standalone YadaYada Minstrel S(TM) modem for $149 (after $150 rebate). YadaYada's service is available by visiting www.yadayada.com or calling 1-800-YadaYada. YadaYada's wireless modem is also available as a standalone product through the Handspring module and accessory store within the PalmGear Web site, www.palmgear.com/hs. All necessary cables and AC adapters are also included.

The Handspring Visor Platinum handheld computer uses the new Palm OS software, version 3.5.2H and includes an enhanced date book, address book, to-do list, memo pad, mail, expense reporting, advanced calculator, world clock and a HotSync Manager. The Minstrel S modem employs Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) technology, which allows transmission of data over the cellular voice network at speeds up to 19.2 kbps and is deployed in most U.S. metropolitan areas and some international markets. CDPD is currently the fastest wireless data network available in the U.S.
