New Content Channel on OmniSky Wireless E-mail and Internet Service Offers Immediate Access to Mobile Information for PDAs

"What's New!" Content Channel Makes New and Innovative Content Easy to Find at a Glance

OmniSky Corporation (Nasdaq:OMNY), the award-winning provider of branded wireless e-mail and Internet services for users of PDAs, today introduced the "What's New!" content channel on its wireless portal. The channel is designed to keep users up-to-date on the steady stream of dynamic, new mobile content offered on the OmniSky service.

OmniSky is the first wireless service to offer a channel exclusively designated to highlighting new content offerings. Other wireless Internet services require customers to go to a web site, select new content of interest and perform a HotSync. PC-based OmniSky users simply perform a HotSync, while connected to the Internet, and all the new content links are automatically downloaded and immediately available on the service.

"OmniSky offers the broadest range of content available on a wireless e-mail and Internet service with almost a thousand links to information optimized specifically for viewing on a PDA," said Chris Weasler, senior director of content at OmniSky. "This new channel makes it easier than ever for users to locate and explore new content as it becomes available."

Kicking off the "What's New!" channel are nine new content providers. This expands OmniSky's content network to over 150 branded Internet partners representing finance, travel, shopping, news, sports, portals, local, living, entertainment, communication and reference. New sites include:

OmniSky's "What's New!" channel also includes links to Quick Tips, "What's Cool!" and an Editor's Note. Quick Tips are shortcuts that help users make their wireless e-mail and Internet experience better, faster and more relevant. For instance, users can learn how to use OmniSky's OneTap(TM) feature to save addresses from the Web directly into their PDA address book and save directions to the memo pad. "What's Cool!" highlights sites that are especially innovative, entertaining or just plain cool. The Editor's Note explains where the new sites are located in the OmniSky portal for future reference.
