Thomson Financial Solutions Pushes Wireless Frontier

Thomson Financial and Strategy.com Offer Proactive Delivery of Quality Financial Information Through Web, Wireless and Voice

Thomson Financial Solutions, the market leader in e-financial solutions, has partnered with Strategy.com, a leading provider of one-to-one messaging, to deliver in-depth financial information `proactively' to customers via web, wireless and voice.

This means that customers can have information sent at regularly scheduled times, such as the close of the market each day, or immediately and proactively via certain devices, such as mobile phone, phone, PDA, fax or email. For example, if an officer of a company trades some of his shares, a customer could be notified of this news right away on his mobile phone.

Thomson Financial offers Strategy.com strong data assets (GlobalTOPIC, Worldscope and I/B/E/S), technology and development expertise.

William O'Conor, CEO of Thomson Financial Solutions said, "Thomson Financial Solutions provides not only outstanding content, but also software solutions that are flexible enough to work across several platforms. Thomson Financial Solutions and Strategy.com can now provide a complete and easily implemented wireless solution that can be licensed by other businesses".

Nick Weir, President and COO of Strategy.com said, "Strategy.com offers significant value to any investor - in-depth financial information at the precise time it is most valuable, through mobile phone, PDA or email. Strategy.com delivers the next best thing to carrying your own private stockbroker around with you each moment of the day".

Commenting on the partnership, Simon Hastilow, Marketing Director of Thomson Financial Solutions said, "We continue to be a leader in the fast developing world of wireless financial information. We are making the wireless world a reality - whilst others just talk - to the benefit of our clients and their customers alike".
