Romeis Group physicians to achieve wireless connectivity to EMR system

WirelessMD, Inc. (WirelessMD) a subsidiary of M2Verticom Corporation (M2Verticom), the premiere wireless connectivity application solution provider for the medical community, today announced that the Romeis Group has selected WirelessMD to enable their electronic medical record and information systems to be accessed by physicians using handheld WirelessMD Communicators.

Under the terms of the agreement, physicians associated with the Romeis Group will receive wireless connectivity to the Group's IT system including, but not limited to, electronic medical records, precertification requests, lab results, authorization information, electronic prescriptions and patient medical information as well as FDA alerts, drug interaction information and physician directories.

Full connectivity to the Group's IT system by its two Tampa Bay subsidiaries: Doctors Care, an independent practice association comprising 46 primary care physicians' offices and Premier Inpatient Physicians, a hospital admitting service is expected by the end of the first quarter.
