Novient Selects NetMorf's Software Platform to Develop Wireless Applications for Its Service Process Optimization Solution

New Wireless Applications to Serve Remote Service Providers with Time & Expense Entry and Project Task Updates

NetMorf, Inc., the leading mobile business (m-business) platform provider, today announced that Novient(TM) has chosen SiteMorfer(TM) to extend its Service Process Optimization (SPO) solution to mobile devices. Novient is the premier software provider of Internet-based SPO solutions, which help service organizations optimize their service operations and better manage their workforce to achieve superior business results.

SiteMorfer provides development organizations like Novient with a robust and scalable platform to build effective applications for service organizations to communicate with employees, partners and customers anywhere, anytime. Novient will utilize SiteMorfer to allow its customers to access the functionality within Novient's SPO application, Novient eServices(TM), via mobile devices in addition to the Internet.

"We selected SiteMorfer because it provides us with a solid foundation to build new mobile applications and extend our existing ones to wireless devices in a short amount of time," said R. Russ Caldwell, CTO of Novient. "Supporting an array of sophisticated global companies in multiple markets, we need to ensure support for the broadest array of back-end data sources, devices, protocols and technologies when designing new applications - which is one of SiteMorfer's greatest strengths."

The wireless applications under development will provide service professionals with remote access to business-critical project information, as well as the ability to complete time and expense tasks from any device or wireless PDA, giving Novient's customers the ability to accurately monitor client costs and staffing levels at all times. With SiteMorfer, Novient will deploy a complete mobile business solution that performs reliably, accurately and scales to match critical business demands.

"Corporations who by nature have a large mobile workforce or customer base are the first adopters of the new mobile channel, with a true business need for wireless access to corporate data and transactions. As a clear indicator of this new market, NetMorf is excited to be partnering with Novient to deliver the first wave of m-business applications created specifically for the service industry," said Michael Maggio, president and CEO of NetMorf. "By allowing consultants to review and submit time and expense data, review and update project tasks and assignments, or receive calendar notifications and alerts from any wireless device, today's service organizations can dramatically increase efficiency while improving customer service."

A member of NetMorf's Mobile ISV Program, Novient has licensed the SiteMorfer platform and receives training and consulting assistance in developing new mobile business applications for its customers. Applications built with SiteMorfer incorporate m-Logic(TM), the de facto standard for designing applications that leverage the unique characteristics of today's mobile devices and the specific attributes associated with a mobile user.
