Pacific Wireless Technologies Launches Integrated Communication Services Using Motorola's iDEN Wireless Technology

Pacific Wireless Technologies, Inc. announces the introduction of integrated wireless communications services across a 40,000 square-mile area in central and northern California based on Motorola's iDEN(R) wireless technology.

Pacific Wireless Technologies offers services to businesses that place a high value on fast, efficient and reliable integrated communications services, such as those in service, agriculture, construction, wholesale and distribution, trucking, and government. Mobile professionals can use Pacific Wireless Technologies' service, with Motorola's palm-size multi-service handsets, to instantly communicate with one or hundreds of individuals through the two-way radio feature, make a digital phone call, and receive text messages.

iDEN handsets combine the capabilities of an Internet-ready digital wireless phone, text pager, and two-way radio to enable users to instantly communicate with one or hundreds of individuals at the push of a button. There are five iDEN network operators in North America serving more than seven million subscribers.

"By combining the capabilities of multiple wireless services with extensive network coverage, mobile customers are able to communicate faster and more efficiently and in the manner that best serves their particular needs," said Jeffery Fuller, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Wireless Technologies, Inc. "In addition to our dispatch focused, integrated wireless services, we believe our superior customer care will contribute to businesses' ability to communicate more effectively and impact the bottom line."

"Motorola is excited to be working with Pacific Wireless Technologies to expand iDEN services in the central California valley region," said Mark Shockley, Vice President of Motorola and General Manager of the iDEN Subscriber Group's International Markets Division. "This versatile technology can allow business users in this high-growth market to manage their time in a more productive and efficient manner."
