Aeritas, Inc., Launches the Travel Industry's First Nonstop Mobile Check-in and Boarding Service

Aeritas Express(TM) For Travel Eliminates Check-in Lines by Issuing a Barcode-based Boarding Pass Directly to Passenger's Mobile Phone or PDA

Aeritas, Inc., an innovator in mobile commerce technology, today officially announced the travel industry's first nonstop mobile check-in and boarding service.

Using patent-pending technology, Aeritas Express(TM) For Travel combines voice and text interaction in a single user session, enabling airline passengers to conveniently check-in to a flight and receive a barcode-based boarding pass directly on their mobile phone or PDA. The boarding pass is then scanned at the gate using the airline's existing equipment.

Aeritas recently announced agreements with Sabre Inc., and Siemens Business Services, Division Transportation (Germany). Testing of this first-of-its kind service with select U.S. and European airlines is scheduled for this quarter, with rollout planned for later this year.
