Digitas and AvantGo to Develop Next-Generation Mobile Marketing Solutions

AvantGo, Inc. (Nasdaq:AVGO), the leading provider of mobile infrastructure software and services, and Digitas Inc. (Nasdaq:DTAS), the leader in customer solutions, today announced that they have formed a partnership to develop next-generation customer relationship management solutions and marketing services.

Digitas and AvantGo will work together to develop mobile marketing programs, applications and solutions using the AvantGo 4.0 mobile infrastructure. These include enabling wireless and offline loyalty programs, promotions, purchases and other customer-facing solutions that can accommodate direct response campaigns, branding efforts, promotions, surveys and a variety of multipurpose ads, as well as direct marketing and customer relationship management services that help companies to broaden and deepen their customer relationships.

In addition, Digitas and AvantGo will jointly market M-Business and CRM services to businesses interested in extending their Web-based marketing solutions to mobile devices, including handheld devices and smartphones.
