Ecocys Technologies Inc., developer of enterprise software solutions, announced today the extension of support for hand-held and wireless devices of its flagship offering, TaskShare(TM).
TaskShare provides peer-to-peer (P2P) collaborative process and data/content management for the processes and interactions among a company's employees, vendors, partners, suppliers and customers. TaskShare's wireless component now makes such interactions possible through WAP and Palm devices.
Optimized for small-footprint devices, TaskShare Wireless leverages the convenience of wireless communication for real-time, mobile collaboration and serves as an effective tool for people on the move. TaskShare wireless users can now collaborate with desktop users and other wireless users alike, thus, providing them the ability to send and receive data to and from applications supported by the TaskShare platform.
TaskShare enables users to create Easelets, 'intelligent software process agents.' Each Easelet comprises a unique interface, data and logic as defined by the user and is built to model and implement a specific business process. Easelet tasks can range from the simple to the complex, from an instant message to the automation of a heavy-duty transaction.
TaskShare Wireless provides Easelets support for several common tasks performed by mobile employees. According to level of access and permissions granted, wireless users can execute a wide range of transactions, a few of which include:
