go2 Provides Location-Based Services On Excite@Home's Excite Mobile

go2 Systems Inc., the originator of go2(R), the first global addressing and locator system designed for the Internet and wireless devices, today announced that Excite@Home (Nasdaq:ATHM), the leader in broadband, has integrated go2's services into its wireless portal, Excite Mobile.

Excite users who enjoy its personalization features now have access to go2's leading location-based services directory through the Excite Start Page on Internet enabled phones.

"This deal enhances our users' wireless experience wherever they are by giving them a tool that helps them easily find the addresses, directions and numbers for any business or service location," said Peter Negulescu, vice president and general manager, Content Applications for Excite@Home.

"Adding go2's services furthers our commitment to providing our users with convenient personalization features, giving them new tools making life more simple."

Excite Mobile offers users the ability to personalize content on their mobile phones or wireless PDAs, parallel to the personalization offerings of the Excite portal. Mobile users now have access to their Excite e-mail, Excite planner address books and calendar, customized sports, stocks portfolio, personal news, personal horoscope and now access to go2's service through a yellow pages link.

Once Excite users have registered for their free account in the go2 system, they can quickly and easily find the businesses and services they are looking for.

go2 is featured on virtually all major North American carriers, including Verizon Wireless, Sprint PCS, AT&T, Nextel and BellSouth Mobility and can be accessed through pager and PDA networks such as Neomar, Omnisky and Palm.

The real-time location and information data for go2's growing base of blue-chip customers, including major U.S. companies such as Coca-Cola, Jiffy Lube, Ramada, House of Blues, Jamba Juice and Cinnabon, includes promotions, coupons and specials designed to save users time and money.

"Being part of Excite's mobile division furthers our already category-leading distribution of wireless location-based services and information," said Lee Hancock, president and CEO of go2 Systems. "Our users have consistently praised the value of go2 in searching for the most relevant and useful information to make their lives easier, and we're delighted to bring that value and convenience to Excite users."
