w-Technologies, a global provider of wireless software products and mobile business solutions, has launched its "What's Your Wireless Vision?" challenge. To enter the challenge, which ends March 31st, organizations are being asked to share with w-Technologies their "wireless vision" - a specific mobile business project that will positively impact their organization's business. w-Technologies will select one winning organization and provide the software and services that will mobilize the submitted project idea.
What is Your Challenge? The challenge is to submit your organization's wireless vision in a short 75-300 word essay. w-Technologies is seeking both a creative and practical wireless application idea that addresses what current or future aspect of your business you would like to wirelessly-enable and why.
How to Enter: Complete and submit the application form on the w-Technologies Web site, www.w-technologies.com. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. EST on March 31, 2001. Complete contest rules are available on the Web site. Applicants can also request an application form by calling 877-298-7233, or via email at wirelessvision@w-technologies.com.
Judging and Criteria: An expert panel of judges from w-Technologies and other leading technology and business organizations will carefully evaluate each entry using the following criteria:
1) The potential market viability of the wireless products and
services described.
2) The creativity of the solution.
3) The descriptiveness of the solution.
4) The demonstrative benefit the solution will have to consumers
and/or to the business directly.
Winners will be notified by April 30, 2001. The w-Technologies' software package is valued at $99,000. Professional service fees provided will not exceed $25,000. Entries and awards will be subject to the contest rules.
