Inciscent Introduces SkyBox Mail

Synchronized Wireless E-Mail Service for Multiple Devices and Networks with Attachment Viewing Capabilities

Inciscent, Inc., the wired-to-wireless software provider partnered with Aether Systems (NASDAQ: AETH) and Metrocall (NASDAQ: MCLLC), announces SkyBox Mail(SM), a revolutionary wireless e-mail service designed to meet the needs of a mobile workforce. The state-of-the-art wireless application is featured beginning today at the Cellular Telephone Industry Association (CTIA) Wireless 2001 trade show and exposition in Las Vegas, NV.

SkyBox Mail is the first wireless e-mail application to run on virtually any wireless handheld device and any carrier's network. SkyBox Mail(SM) provides robust synchronization with IMAP 4 and POP 3 e-mail platforms and allows users to open and view file attachments from popular software programs, such as Microsoft Word, on their handheld devices.

"The increasing mobility of the enterprise workforce, coupled with the growing popularity of multiple types of data-centric wireless devices, has created an environment that is ready for a robust cross platform, device independent wireless e-mail service," said Tom Matthews, Inciscent's president and CEO. "With SkyBox Mail, an enterprise can meet the demands of its entire mobile constituency without having to outfit each individual with a new proprietary handheld device. This eliminates headaches for IT departments trying to support the entire organization while lowering deployment costs and increasing the speed of implementation."

SkyBox Mail release version 1.0 operates securely on Palm, HandSpring Visor, RIM wireless messaging devices and Motorola's P935 and T900 two-way messaging devices as well. Upcoming releases will enable Pocket PC devices and thin client, micro-browser based devices such as WAP-enabled mobile phones.

SkyBox Mail provides users the ability to instantly and easily read and send business-critical information, from any location. Secure encryption and authentication features mean users can confidently manage confidential information. SkyBox Mail also allows users to set message filters, for easy message prioritization and faster, more efficient wireless communication. SkyBox Mail is also the first wireless e-mail application to feature an integrated attachment reader, so end-users can immediately open and read Microsoft(R) Word documents and other text-based attachments. SkyBox Mail gives its users access of up to 15 e-mail accounts on both enterprise-based platforms, such as Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and Novell's Groupwise, as well as Internet POP mail and is not limited to just one e-mail address or platform.

Demonstrations of Inciscent's SkyBox Mail can be found at the Metrocall booth, No. 840, at CTIA Wireless 2001 today through Thursday, March 22.
