Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ:SWIR - TSE:SW) is pleased to announce two early access Software Development Kits for Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and Ricochet products, in addition to the general availability of the enhanced Sierra Wireless Software Development Kit for Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD). The Sierra Wireless Software Development Kits, with associated support, provide software developers with a friendly application interface, allowing users to seamlessly integrate their mobile data applications with Sierra Wireless modems.

The Sierra Wireless Software Development Kit allows developers to create turnkey solutions, supporting an integrated installation of a third party application with the Sierra Wireless modem enabling software. This process ensures the application is easy to install and manage and allows an application test sequence against a version of libraries that are present in the wireless device. Developers can access the Sierra Wireless Software Development Kit and support all in one location on the Sierra Wireless website, http://www.sierrawireless.com/developers. User interface capabilities include integrating various wireless indicators, such as signal strength and wireless service provider identification, directly into an application. Software developers can easily synchronize databases and effectively control wireless data transactions.
