Snow Conditions Now On Cell Phones & PDAs

RealConditions.com, SkiSite.com and PowderGram.com Join IWAPI

SkiSite.com, the fastest and most complete skiing and snow sports destination on the Web, and IWAPI, a leader in bringing real-time information to wireless users, jointly announced a partnership to bring snow conditions and related travel information to users anywhere, anytime, from the convenience of any wireless handheld device in North America.

Snowboarders, skiers, and other travelers can now access a trove of Internet information from their cell phones and PDAs. The free service is the first wireless snow conditions and winter sports portal that can be accessed from virtually any Web enabled cell phone, PDA and other wireless device. Wireless users can access the sites at http://www.realconditions.com/wap or at snow.iwapi.com.

From the convenience of your cell phone or PDA, you can check current snow conditions; submit snow reports; monitor forecasts, and get directions, among many other resources. Additionally, users will soon have a chatboard to leave messages or make arrangements to catch a ride over to Vail or Tahoe.

"With SkiSite.com, and RealConditions.com, The Gantzer Group has an excellent vision for wireless content," commented Kevin Groeneweg, chief executive officer of IWAPI. "They make the ideal partner for us because our goal is to make great content like theirs available for the growing number of wireless users."

"Users of the SkiSite family of Web sites asked for wireless access to our ski conditions and resort data, and IWAPI is the ideal partner to enable our wireless initiative," said Greg Gantzer of the SkiSite.com, the creator and visionary behind the snow enthusiast sites.

"This partnership allows us to continue building a community of skiers and snowboarders while providing the easiest and most comprehensive conditions and resort data."
