WIDCOMM Bluetooth Wireless Development Kits Now Available for Purchase Online

WIDCOMM, Inc., a world leader in Bluetooth wireless networking solutions, today announced that its six new Bluetooth development kits (DKs) can now be purchased on the company's web site.

WIDCOMM's kits allow developers to create Windows-based, Palm-OS-based, and embedded Bluetooth applications, and will speed the next generation of interoperable Bluetooth wireless products to market.

WIDCOMM's Development Kits present an integrated development environment and are the broadest portfolio of Bluetooth-focused tools available from a single vendor. All kits include WIDCOMM's rich Application Programmer Interface (APIs), extensive documentation and WIDCOMM's market-leading toolset.

Palm-OS-based Bluetooth adaptors for the
Handspring(TM) Visor(TM)

incorporating two Windows-based adaptors for PCs or
laptops

-- Devices Development Kit, including one Palm-OS-based
Bluetooth adapter, one Windows-based adaptor for PCs

-- PDA-NAP Development Kit, including one Palm-OS-based
Bluetooth adapter, one free-standing Bluegate
