Alice System is launching their second GPRS client software that enables Mobile Internet over GPRS - Alice Connect. Alice Connect will stimulate end-users to use GPRS as a mean to download e-mails, surf the web and access Intranets. Alice Connect is targeted towards all GPRS users and is focusing on user friendliness and usefulness for mobile data users using Laptops and PDAs.
Mobile Internet will only really take off when it is easy to use. It must be possible to access available services on the Internet or on the corporate Intranet without having to possess knowledge about the hardware and operating systems in use, drivers, sets of applications and the interaction between different networks. When any end user can have quick and trouble free access to applications like email, web surfing and their Intranet from their wireless device at any time, that is when the mobile Internet starts to add true value.
Usefulness and ease of use is the essence of Alice Connect. The software client makes existing PC and PDA applications like web-surfing, e-mail, file download and corporate access easy-to-use way for everyone. Alice Connect can be pre-configured by the operator, avoiding complex settings by the end user, thereby reducing complexity and thus making Mobile Internet as easy as just one-click. Alice Connect is an application for every mobile user, for a variety of wireless devices and operating systems - it brings Mobile Internet to everyone's pocket.

Alice Connect allows for operators to introduce a simple connectivity tool for all GPRS users. This will stimulate end users to use GPRS as a mean to download e-mails, surf the web and access Intranets. Alice Connect can be operator branded and offers an automatic launch to e.g. the operator's portal and thus enables the GPRS operator to offer complete Internet services. For growing security needs, Alice Connect can be upgraded to Alice Login, the security client for GPRS already launched by Alice Systems.
