Arizan Corporation, developer of wireless document technology, and Air2Web, the leading wireless platform provider, today announced an agreement to integrate the Arizan Mobile Document Platform with Air2Web's Mobile Internet Platform.
Arizan's unique technology enables mobile users to access, read and interact with information stored in documents on personal digital assistants (PDAs) such as Palms, digital cell phones, web-enabled phones, 2-way pagers and other wireless handheld devices. Users can easily view content in the form of word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation and PDF style documents, solving the immediate mobile market need to read documents, including e-mail attachments. The Arizan solution, powered by the AirDoc Enterprise Server(TM), will be fully integrated into the Air2Web platform. As a result, the combined solution will deliver seamless document content to any wireless user solving the corporate document access and email attachment problem with mobile devices.
"Arizan has extensive expertise with document structures and optimizing document delivery to wireless devices," said Sanjoy Malik, President and CEO of Air2Web. "This expertise, combined with Air2Web's flexible and robust Mobile Internet Platform, will enable our customers to wirelessly access their documents and email attachments providing a core business benefit to our customers and an advantage over our competitors."
"Access to document information is the Achilles' heel for most wireless email solutions today," said Darrell Knight, Arizan's President and CEO. "Our platform, integrated with the Air2Web solution, gives mobile users interactive access to their documents, completing the wireless solution and meeting a critical business need."
