Coola, Inc. Provides Mobile Content Delivery for Boston.com's DigitalMASS

Coola, Inc., a provider of end-to-end mobile content delivery and Boston.com, one of the country's most visited regional portals, today unveiled functionality that delivers DigitalMASS content to handheld devices. The new feature allows users to transfer full-text news articles and event listings from DigitalMASS (www.digitalmass.com), the technology news and information site, directly to their PalmOS handheld applications.

The new mobile delivery service is easy to use. Users register for the application, then click on the Coola Sync-to-Palm button associated with each DigitalMASS event or article. The content is transferred directly to their handheld device the next time they synchronize it.

"The Coola application is a great addition to DigitalMASS," said Lisa DeSisto, vice president and general manager of Boston.com. "The readers of DigitalMASS are tech-savvy by definition, and this application provides them with easy access to news stories and local event listings when they're on the go."

The new service is part of the redesigned DigitalMASS site that launched last week. In addition to improved navigation and fully integrated search capabilities, the site now offers weekly venture capital updates and news stories in four high-tech sectors: e-commerce, high-speed connectivity, communications and biotech. A database of 6,000 local companies has been integrated into site search results as well.

"We are excited to partner with Boston.com on this initiative," said Sudha Jamthe, CEO of Coola, Inc. "Coola allows visitors to access the information they want from wherever they are, with a single click."
