Solutions Provider, Arch Wireless, Inc.

At the prestigious VORTEX 2001 conference today, EnvoyWorldWide, Inc. is previewing EnvoyGo, a key component in the company's strategy of providing enterprise application messaging services from mobile professionals' devices of choice. EnvoyGo adds functionality to EnvoyXpress, the company's core communications platform, enabling senders to use a variety of handheld devices. EnvoyWorldWide is one of only 17 companies selected to demonstrate at VORTEX 2001, a venue for showcasing the hottest new technologies in the Internet, telephone and television networking markets. The company also is announcing a relationship with Arch Wireless, Inc. (OTCBB: ARCH) a leading provider of wireless Internet messaging and enterprise solutions, to support EnvoyGo.

Initially available on the Palm Vx and VIIx, Handspring Visor and Arch Wireless two-way messaging devices, EnvoyGo further demonstrates EnvoyWorldWide's commitment to providing comprehensive messaging solutions. Leveraging EnvoyXpress, the company's core communications platform, EnvoyGo allows mobile professionals to create, send and track messages from wherever they are, whenever they need to communicate business-critical information. The service offers the one-to-many capabilities of the core service, no matter where you are, while leveraging other applications on the handheld device (e.g., the native address book).

"The business implication and application for mobile professionals - shop floor managers, field sales and service personnel, fleet managers, exchange floor brokers - with the combination of EnvoyGo and the powerful EnvoyXpress messaging platform is very important as communication has become a key business process," said Jim Forbes, editor of DEMOletter and producer of DEMO@VORTEX.

"Much of the activity in the mobile and wireless markets has focused on the recipient - with particular attention on delivering information and content to handheld devices. However, mobility is equally important to the sender," said Alain Daste, co-founder and CEO of EnvoyWorldWide. "From its inception, EnvoyWorldWide has delivered messages to any wired or wireless device, and now offers mobile professionals the ability to send business-critical information any time and from anywhere. This service enhancement elevates the concept of being device-agnostic to a new level and will enable a new class of applications across industries."

VORTEX 2001 also marks the formal announcement of EnvoyWorldWide's relationship with Arch Wireless. "We are committed to enhancing the capabilities of our custom wireless services, and with EnvoyGo, Arch Wireless enterprise solution customers should have the added functionality of initiating one-to-many messages directly from their handheld devices," said Scott Rassoulian, director of solutions development for Arch's Business Solutions Group. "Our relationship with EnvoyWorldWide is another example of Arch's commitment to quickly and effectively provide end-to-end wireless enterprise solutions to companies of any size in such fields as transportation, healthcare, sales force automation, field force automation and others. These real-time data solutions should enable enterprises to enhance their productivity, security, and control."

EnvoyGo complements EnvoyWorldWide's comprehensive suite of enterprise application messaging services. The suite consists of EnvoyXpress, the one-to-many messaging platform, EnvoyProfiles, an event-based notification system allowing recipients to control when, where and how they receive messages according to pre-defined events established by the sender, EnvoyXtend which provides unmatched customization and integration features and a flexible XML-based API, and EnvoyXtra, which provides intelligent messaging features such as escalation, personalized events and multiple choice questions.
