Users Now Have Direct Access to More Than 1.3 Billion Web Pages Anytime, Anywhere

Google Inc. today announced that Handspring, Inc. (Nasdaq:HAND) has integrated Google's intelligent search engine with the new version of Blazer, its award-winning web browser for Palm OS handhelds.

Google is the world's largest search engine, and enables Blazer users to quickly search and browse a full range of web content, including more than 1.3 billion web pages in Google's index.

Available now for any Palm OS handheld based on version 3.1 or higher, Blazer's advanced technology supports all major content types, optimizing HTML, WAP, and cHTML web pages for viewing on a handheld display. Google's easy-to-use interface and highly relevant ranking technology returns the most useful websites first. Google's search results also include short summaries of each web page, further speeding up the process of finding information while on the go. Blazer includes support for color graphics, personalization, bookmarks, and strong security, therefore providing users with a complete Internet experience.

"Google's search engine enables customers to tap into a wealth of human knowledge from any Visor or Palm OS-based handheld computer," said Ed Colligan, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Handspring, Inc. "The wide variety of integrated content and services we have assembled make Blazer an attractive browsing platform for our consumer and corporate users."

"Blazer is a friendly and feature-rich solution for accessing web pages in a wireless environment," said Larry Page, CEO and co-founder of Google. "Google's search engine connects Blazer users to the world's information."
