Inforetech Wireless Technology's Proshot GPS Golf Management System Sends Life-Saving Tornado Warning

Michigan's Majestic at Lake Walden Golf Course Realizes Benefit of GPS Golf

Inforetech Wireless Technology Inc.(R) (OTCBB:WYRE) and its golf division ProShot Golf Networks, the developer of handheld and cart-mounted Global Positioning Systems (GPS) Golf management systems are being credited with saving lives when a tornado struck the busy Majestic at Lake Walden Golf Course in Hartland, Mich. Monday afternoon.

Majestic's Pro Steve Tannar used ProShot Golf's T-1800 to notify golfers of an approaching tornado in time for about 120 of the 150 golfers to reach shelter in the clubhouse basement and the others to take cover on the course before the tornado hit.

Proshot Golf's T-1800 product delivers text and graphics on a display screen detailing each hole-layout, distance to the center of green and key hazards. It also provides information on yardage, food and beverage ordering, and text messaging.

"In the fall we send out the football scores," said Tannar. "During the Masters, everyone was out playing, and we'd send out the scores. It's a gadget that's a lot of fun but it earned its keep Monday. I think without it, there could have been fatalities."

"We are saddened by Monday's tornado and the damage caused, yet pleased at the same time that our GPS Golf Technology played a pivotal role in saving lives," said Brent Silzer, Inforetech's vice president of marketing and investor relations. "The product's ability to transmit potentially life saving information in real time is yet another major reason for golf courses everywhere to seriously consider the GPS Golf technology; you can't put a price on saving lives"
