MedAptus, Inc., developer of the Charges In Hand (TM) Mobile Coding Solution, today announced a strategic alliance with CodeCorrect, the leading provider of online local and national Medicare coding information. This partnership strengthens the MedAptus integrated suite of wireless, handheld healthcare information solutions, helping its customers strengthen practice revenues and improve compliance with medical billing regulations.
Under the terms of the agreement, CodeCorrect will license its searchable database of CPT-4, ICD-9, and HCPCS codes and the LMRP, CCI and other Medicare edits to MedAptus, Inc. MedAptus will incorporate this continuously updated information into its Charges In Hand Mobile Coding Solution. In addition, the CodeCorrect online research tool, which incorporates up-to-the-minute information on regional changes in Medicare coding and billing and enables a user to check that proposed codes are reimbursable, will be offered to practices utilizing Charges In Hand. CodeCorrect will also promote MedAptus as its preferred provider of wireless, handheld healthcare information technology solutions.
