MobileQ Launches MyScape, Industry's First Multi-Lingual Mobile Portal Creation Product, for Global Service Providers

Bell Mobility First Customer for MyScape; Product Enables Users to Customize their Mobile Web Experience, in any Language, Through Simple Drag-and-Drop Features

MobileQ(TM), Inc., a leading developer of mobile software solutions, today announced the industry's first fully customizable multi-lingual mobile portal creation product, called MobileQ MyScape(TM), which enables wireless Web users to manage and navigate their favorite Web sites on any wireless device as easily as they would on their desktop PCs.

Global wireless service providers can use MyScape to customize wireless Web content for their customers, creating new revenue-generating services that increase both consumer and corporate subscriber loyalty.

Bell Mobility, the leading wireless telecommunications carrier in Canada, is the first customer for MyScape, which provides the customization features for the recently-launched My Mobile Browser application on Bell Mobility's wireless Web service.

MyScape, which is based on the MobileQ XMLEdge(TM) platform, is the first mobile portal customization product to incorporate drag-and-drop editing features, so that subscribers, for the first time, can customize the Web content they access from their wireless phone, personal digital assistant (PDA), or pager directly from their PCs, rather than depending solely on content provided by their carriers. The easy-to-use interface of MyScape provides both telecom administrators and subscribers alike with an efficient personalization system for mobile content.

For mobile users, MyScape greatly reduces the amount of Web surfing time required to access premium content. MyScape enables carriers to offer corporate customers the ability to integrate e-mail and other business applications, such as sales force automation, seamlessly into a mobile enterprise portal.

"MobileQ's mission is to provide the ultimate mobile user experience. With MyScape, we offer service providers a scalable, flexible tool for serving both their consumer and corporate customer's needs to manage mobile content and applications," said Suren Pai, president and CEO of MobileQ. "As more people access the Web through wireless devices, the management and personalization of content will become a greater issue for service providers."

According to McKinsey, the market for mobile portal services will grow to approximately $10.6 billion by 2005, and will become increasingly globalized. MobileQ has designed MyScape to directly address the needs of global service providers as they offer cross-border customer audiences and diverse user groups a multi-lingual product that supports any language character set (Bell Mobility's My Mobile Browser serves content in both French and English). The personalization features of MyScape enable service providers to create specific Web portals for different groups of users, with customized interfaces. The menu management features of MyScape allow service providers to control the applications and content they deliver to users, rather than relying on third-party aggregators.

MyScape marks MobileQ's first product for the telecom service provider sector, and the first in a series of customized applications for service providers based on MobileQ's XMLEdge platform. Service providers can realize a higher return on investment with MyScape by creating a more usable, enjoyable mobile Internet experience that yields increased user network time and lower customer turnover, or churn.

MobileQ also helps lower carrier's administrative costs through self-provisioning features that enable customization of billing and access features. Since MyScape supports virtually any wireless device, service providers are assured of a broad, future-proof solution that will evolve with the latest technology.

MobileQ will work with service providers, including Bell Mobility, to provision their corporate enterprise customers for mobile portals, which can deliver a wide range of applications - including sales force automation, messaging, customer relationship management software -consistently across a broad array of wireless devices.
