Announces Service Availability for New Pocket PC Devices

OmniSky Corporation (Nasdaq:OMNY), the innovative provider of award-winning wireless applications and services, announced today that it is a silver sponsor of the Microsoft Mobile Experience Tour. During the 11-city tour, OmniSky will showcase its wireless enterprise solution for Pocket PC users to IT professionals and others involved in the evaluation, deployment and use of mobile technology and devices.

According to IDC, sales of Pocket PCs are expected to reach 8.4 million per year by 2004. Today, OmniSky also announced support for three new Pocket PC devices to address demand from the growing number of mobile professionals who require a wireless solution for staying connected while on the go. OmniSky now supports a comprehensive range of Pocket PCs including the HP Jornada 520/540 Series Pocket PC and Compaq iPAQ H3600 Series Pocket PC. Today, the company also announced that it will offer wireless service for the Casio Cassiopeia E-125 Series Pocket PC in the near future.

The OmniSky wireless service provides mobile professionals with secure wireless access to corporate data, line-of-business applications, and Internet functions that improve productivity, reduce employee downtime, and increase client service. By combining the OmniSky service with a Pocket PC device, mobile professionals can wirelessly retrieve Microsoft Outlook e-mail behind the firewall, navigate the Internet, and securely conduct e-commerce transactions.
