THQ Inc. (Nasdaq:THQI) today announced that its new mobile entertainment division, THQ Wireless, will be demonstrating two new games for Java-based mobile phones in THQ's Booth No. 4001, Petree Hall at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

These games include "WWF: Mobile Madness" (working title) which will release under the THQ/JAKKS Pacific (Nasdaq:JAKK) joint venture, and a Tetris(R) game that will be demonstrated with the permission of The Tetris Company LLC. THQ plans to release its first games for mobile devices this summer.

"One of the key objectives of the THQ Wireless division is to bring quality games with true mainstream appeal to mobile device users across the globe," stated Tim Walsh, senior vice president, International Publishing, THQ. "We are delighted to be demonstrating World Wrestling Federation and Tetris games at E3, two of the most popular worldwide brands in gaming and entertainment."

"WWF: Mobile Madness" features top World Wrestling Federation Superstars, Kane and The Undertaker including their signature moves and taunts. Players will be able to punch, kick, perform reverses and even perform combination moves including spinning their opponent before body slamming them in one-on-one battles.

The Tetris franchise has enjoyed 88 different releases on 22 different systems since 1988. Players will be able to test their block-dropping skills in this latest, cutting-edge variation of the classic game everywhere they go.
