Finnish security software company Valimo Wireless and mobile transaction solutions provider Entirem today announced having signed a marketing co-operation agreement. The companies target the emerging European wireless wealth management market, which includes for example financial advice and stock brokerage services.
Entirem develops mobile financial transactions software. Its main product, EntireWealth is the first secure wireless brokerage system which enables financial companies, portals and operators to offer personalized and end-to-end secure services for comprehensive wealth management.
Valimo specializes in developing software for authentication systems to secure and perform transactions with mobile devices. The company's Validator software product is a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solution. It provides strong network security, guaranteeing the confidentiality of information and preventing unauthorized access to the information.
For Valimo, the co-operation with Entirem signifies a breakthrough in both financial security and international authentication software markets. The company was founded in 2000, and its potential customers include especially mobile operators, certifying authorities and large corporations who want to offer strong security and authentication to their end user services.
"We are looking for partners in various mobile e-business segments. The wireless financial and brokerage services market is gaining ground in Europe. Entiremīs products and its international presence provide us huge benefits in our process of international expansion", comments Jarkko Elonen, CEO, Valimo Wireless.
"Strong security is a crucial requirement in the establishment of a trusted mobile financial and wealth management market. So far, PKI solutions have been heavy to install and relatively expensive. Validator, being a lighter solution, can be easily integrated with the systems of certifying authorities, operators and service providers", says Mika Koskinen, President, Entirem.
