A Bluetooth First - Demo of Distribution and Redemption of e-Coupons

TADLYS and RegiSoft Cooperate to Launch Retail Solution Stand E7 Level 1 Bluetooth Congress 5-8th June

For the first time, visitors to the Bluetooth Congress will witness Bluetooth™ wireless technology enabling the distribution and redemption of electronic coupons. TADLYS, a developer of BluetoothTM wireless communication infrastructure solutions, together with RegiSoft, creators of Value-added Services for m-commerce, will be displaying the distribution and redemption of e-Coupons via Bluetooth during the Bluetooth Congress at the TADLYS' stand (Booth # E7, Level One). Visitors will have the opportunity to browse RegiSoft's "E-Clips coupon site" on a Palm™ PDA over Bluetooth.

Upon selecting the e-Coupon, the user downloads it to the mobile device so that in the "real world" the e-Coupon can be brought into a physical store for redemption. Also at the exhibition, users will be able to redeem e-Coupons at a Bluetooth access point and see the discount recorded immediately at a point-of-sale. This joint demo is powered by TADLYS’ Bluetooth network and RegiSoft's World Trade Server™, a back-office system for distribution of electronic promotions and tickets. The World Trade Server™ also features CRM and data mining tools that allow vendors immediate cross-sell and upsell responses that are profile, location and time based. TADLYS provides Bluetooth networks for corporate and "hot-spot" applications. When deployed in department stores and shopping centers, TADLYS' Bluetooth networks support m-commerce secured applications, including "push" of RegiSoft's discount offers and promotions.

"Partnering with RegiSoft to support e-Coupons, e-Vouchers and e-Tickets by our Bluetooth network is part of our long-term strategy to collaborate with leading m-commerce application providers,” said Felix Eshed, TADLYS’ VP of Business Development, ”We believe that Bluetooth is the best wireless technology for localized and personalized mobile-commerce services and electronic promotions.” Hilit Koppel, RegiSoft's Strategic Partnerships Manager, commented, "RegiSoft has one of the few consumer applications available on Bluetooth.

So naturally we are excited to put it together with TADLYS' network so the consumer can see it in action." About TADLYS TADLYS develops wireless communications systems based on Bluetooth technology.
